You’re contacted by a mysterious voice in your head, called Whisper, who guides you through a tutorial of your abilities, teaching you how to parkour and take out enemies with your sword. Ghostrunner throws its players right into the game without any guidance, leaving the narrative very scarce and withheld. But, who am I trying to fool, I always went back anyway… I personally enjoyed my time with this game overall, although there were moments where I just wanted to quit and never touch it again. However, Ghostrunner turned out slightly different than I anticipated and, although it doesn’t necessarily have to be a negative aspect, I am positive that this game is one of those that may not be enjoyable for everyone. Ghostrunner caught my interest from the moment it was announced, I’ve always been a fan of the ‘cyberpunk’ theme so the presentation of the game was enough to convince me that I had to play it.
